As an investor in the building industry, you need to take the future of your business seriously. Smart investors are always aware of the risks that their businesses face, and they usually take measures to ensure that the continuity of their business in guaranteed even in the face of disaster.  No one has a good knowledge of the risks that a business can face than a building contractor. Building projects are expensive undertakings and even a small mishap can cause huge losses.
 
 A building contractor can accidentally fail to follow details of an architectural design of a house that he is constructing. While this can seem to be non-issue to the layman, it can have far reaching implications to a building contractor. A client can sue a contractor if something like this happens and that is where the problem lies. A building that is under construction can also be hit by an earthquake or floods, causing serious damages to it. All these are risks that can strike without notice and the only way a building contractor can cushion himself from their effects is to get a builder insurance. Some people can argue that you do not need builder insurance for you to succeed as a building contractor.
 
 Well, this can be true until you are faced by a situation that threatens to put your career as a building contractor to a sad and abrupt end. Those who calm that they can survive without builder insurance as contactor are living a total lie. Even the most seasoned contractors have fears when it comes to the survival of their businesses. Builder insurance is not meant to milk the coffers of a building contractor dry. In fact, it meant to give him peace of mind, and the confidence to face even major challenges in his business.
